People at TCNL

TCNL has a shared leadership structure between three senior personnel, who work with a number of students and an extended network of collaborators.

We also list here alumni of TCNL (and its previous incarnation, the Tactile Display Lab; see TCNL history), who include former students and former senior staff.

TCNL's founder and inspiration is Paul Bach-y-Rita, M.D. (1934-2006), neuroscientist, rehabilitation medicine physician, and pioneer in theory and applicaton of brain plasticity.

As expressed in our mission statement, our approach is inherently collaborative, with the interests and efforts of TCNL's members driving the lab's overall direction.
